Our Mission Statement

Juliana's Journey Foundation is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that we created in honor of our daughter, Juliana, who lost her courageous battle against this horrible disease in February of 2012. We're dedicating this foundation to her and all the brave children who are continuing to battle against Neuroblastoma, Childhood Cancer, or who have sadly lost their fight.

Neuroblastoma has the HIGHEST MORTALITY RATE of all pediatric cancers and that's not OK. By doing nothing, it's almost as if we're saying it is.

We've committed ourselves to raise awareness about Neuroblastoma and generate funding for researchers to create less invasive, less toxic and more successful therapies for Neuroblastoma. We personally experienced every phase, treatment, test, scan, poke, surgery, good and not-so-good days with our daughter and have seen what Neuroblastoma is capable of. Although it took our beautiful daughter away from us, as well as ALL of Juliana's little buddies that we met along the way, we have vowed to NEVER stop fighting for a cure so no more parents have to feel what we feel. We intend to become the front-runners in raising awareness and funding for Neuroblastoma research, trials, treatment and eventually a CURE - but we can't do it alone. This is our crusade against cancer - and it will not win!!

Juliana's Journey Foundation has many goals, our number one priority is finding a cure for Neuroblastoma.

  • Find a cure for Neuroblastoma.
  • Change the protocols that have been unsuccessful in Neuroblastoma detection and treatment.
  • Be a major resource for families who have been afflicted by Neuroblastoma.
  • Raise awareness about pediatric cancers.
  • Assist the Make-A-Wish program with providing expedited wish-granting for critically-ill children.
  • Change the protocol for Hospice Care to help provide 24-hour turnaround times for critically-ill children.

  • Generate public awareness by developing relationships with public and private companies to raise the funds necessary to fund research, find a cure and advertise.
  • Identify, target and support the leading researchers of Neuroblastoma treatments, clinical trials and cure.
  • Provide support programs and information for patients and their families and assistance to help them meet the costs of treatment.
  • Personally advocate for government research funding and public policy to benefit patients and their families.

We welcome any and all ideas, donations, support and volunteering efforts.
